The 3M™ Filament Reinforced Insulating Tape 45 has a polyester film carrier reinforced with glass filament and a rubber adhesive with high shear strength. It is designed for bundling high voltage cables.
Details
- Designed for applications where both the dielectric strength of a polyester film and the high mechanical strength of glass fiber are required
- Low elongation, high tensile strength and edge tear resistance
- Suitable for applications such as insulation in dry transformers, motor wrapping, end anchoring of wires and more
- UL approval for temperatures up to 130 °C
- Total thickness of 0.20 mm
