The 3M™ cold shrink insulation sleeve made of EPDM rubber is a factory pre-stretched hose with a removable support spiral. Simply prepare the connection, position the hose and pull out the support spiral.

The 3M™ cold shrink sleeves are tubular sleeves with open ends and a sealing mastic. After the insulating sleeve has been positioned over a cable connector, the support coil can be pulled out at one end. This shrinks the ends of the hose and forms a watertight seal. The size ranges of the core and hose, together with the sealing mastic at each end, ensure a wider range of applications without compromising the sealing and insulation provided by the EPDM rubber. The active deformation of the specially formulated material ensures a permanent seal and insulation from the environment.
