Electrostatic small animal deflector for support insulators, which is placed on the insulators or bushings. Animals only receive a harmless electric shock.
The 3M™ Electrostatic Animal Guard is made of robust plastic with metal spokes that radiate outwards. If an animal touches the spokes, it receives a harmless electric shock, similar to that produced by electrified cattle fences. The animal is not injured.
