Surge Arrester 400SA – Interface C

The touch-safe 400SA surge arrester with Interface C provides reliable protection for medium-voltage systems and electrical equipment against dangerous surges that can be caused, for example, by lightning strikes or switching operations.

Thanks to its compact and fully insulated design, the surge arrester is particularly suitable for use in medium-voltage networks, substations, and electrical distribution systems. The touch-safe design allows for space-saving integration into corresponding medium-voltage connection systems with Type C interfaces in accordance with EN 50180 / EN 50181.

The 400SA surge arrester is available in various versions with rated voltages (Ur) ranging from 6 to 45 kV. With a rated discharge current of 10 kA, it provides effective surge protection and contributes to the operational safety and longevity of the connected electrical systems.
