Interface A - Interface C
The AMV-A-K240TE/G angle plug connector is a high-quality T-shaped connector for connecting polymer-insulated medium-voltage cables to equipment such as transformers, switchgear, or motors.
Thanks to the C-interface on the rear, a voltage sensor can also be installed, which is ideal for modern monitoring and protection systems.
Application
The compact T-connector enables a secure, touch-protected, and space-saving cable connection. The design also allows the cable outer shield to be tested without having to remove the connector.
Design features
The 240TE connector has a robust design and consists of the following components:
- Conductive EPDM outer jacket
- Insulating EPDM intermediate layer between insert and jacket
- Type A interface in accordance with CENELEC EN 50180 / 50181
- Type C interface in accordance with CENELEC EN 50180 / 50181, suitable for voltage sensors
- Optional voltage sensor
Thick-walled, conductive EPDM jacket for completely touch-proof shielding
Each connector is individually tested at the factory for AC high-voltage resistance and partial discharge freedom
Standards & quality standards
The separable 240TE connector meets the requirements of CENELEC HD 629.1 and is therefore certified for demanding medium-voltage applications.
